Say hello to the first Keeping Up In Carmel affiliate, Keeping Up In Greenwood.
Keeping Up In Carmel (KUIC) launched in 2022 as a central resource for family-friendly activities and events on Indy's north side. KUIC raises awareness for things to do in the area, while providing families with the information needed to feel confident navigating these experiences with their kids.

With a goal of having this resource available in cities across the country, we are taking our first expansion of the mission to Indy's south side. Introducing Keeping Up In Greenwood (KUIG)--your central resource for family living on Indy's south side. Read on to learn more about Maddie, the local ambassador behind KUIG.
Hey it's Maddie! Your friend behind KUIG.
Hi there! I'm a wife and a mom to two little boys! My husband Joey and I live in Greenwood with our kids and our dog Sebastian. I’ve spent the last few years working as a marketer, a professional photographer, while still being a mom who loves adventuring with my kids. I pull my experiences together to create this hub to connect families with local activities, businesses, and events through Keeping Up In Greenwood. (KUIG)

I’ve lived in Indiana my entire life, but my family moved to Greenwood at the end of 2022. The year of 2020 opened up a new opportunity for me to pursue a career in marketing, start my own photography business, and spend my days at home with my kids.

My days are never boring. I spend my days with my two boys (Malcolm 3 years) (Miles 6 months) and spend most of my extra time working as a marketer for three small Indiana businesses, editing for Moments by Madison Photography, and now running Keeping Up In Greenwood!

I am excited to join the Keeping Up In Carmel family (literally– Chelsea is my sister-in-law) and become the face and voice of an amazing resource for the south side of Indy!

This blog and instagram (@keepingupingreenwood) is a great way to help families feel comfortable visiting local businesses, events, and activities in our area.

As a parent of young kids, trying new things can be very intimidating if you don’t know what to expect. Is it stroller friendly? Do my kids have to sit still for a long time? I’m here to be your guide and your friend! From one parent to another, I want to share my experience with my family and HOW to do new things right here on KUIG.

KUIG helps generate awareness of what is happening in our area as well as HOW to navigate these events as a family. Giving you the right information will help set you up for success and the whole family can have a great time!

It's time for some new adventures!
