4th of July Fireworks on Indy's Southside

Are you planning on taking your kids out to at least one fireworks show this year, but aren't sure where you want to go? Here are a few options all around the south side that start this Friday June 30th - Tuesday June 4th!


June 30th:

Sparks in the Park. Johnson County Park 2949 E Nineveh St. Nineveh IN. 7-10PM.

  • Celebrate the red, white, and blue at this family-friendly event. Live music, fireworks, beer/wine, food trucks, inflatables, and more! Admission fee $5 ages 13 & older. Gates open at 6pm. Band starts playing at 6:30 pm. Fireworks will start at approximately 10 pm.

July 1st:

Red, White, and Blueberry Festival. Mallow Run Winery, Bargersville, IN.

  • Bring your lawn chairs and picnic blankets and spread out on the lawn for a great summer weekend with family and friends. FREE ADMISSION. Family friendly; all ages welcome! Wine tasting available until 6pm. Wine available for purchase by the glass or bottle. Music 7pm: Sounds of Summer plus a FIREWORKS FINALE. Family-friendly. $10 car charge starting 5pm on Saturday.

July 3rd:

All American Day in the Park. 1300 Churchman Ave. Beech Grove, IN 46107

  • Admission is free and there will be music, food, and fun all evening leading up to Indiana's best 3rd of July fireworks display! Activities: Kids Zone in the park 5:30-8:30pm, Face Painting / Corky the Clown Balloon Animals, and DJ 6:00-10pm.

Franklin Firecracker Festival. 161 W Monroe St, Franklin, IN 4-11PM. The DriveHubler.com Amphitheatre.

  • Free admission. 5:30pm | Food Trucks, Beer & Wine Garden Open, 5:30-6:30pm | Franklin Community Band, 7-10pm | Blue River Band, 10:10pm | Fireworks

July 4th:

Downtown Indianapolis Fireworks.

  • Launched from the top of 500 N Meridian office building. Beginning at 10PM. (Best spots to watch are Indiana War Memorial, the sidewalks along North Meridian Street, and Mass Ave. Bring chairs or blankets to sit on with your littles!

Mooresville Firework Celebration. 6-11pm. 11011 Indianapolis Rd, Mooresville IN

  • 6:00pm-10:00pm and Fireworks at 10:00pm. Bring your own chairs and blankets! Food vendors are available as well as live music by multiple bands.

Edinburgh Firecracker Festival.

  • Fireworks will be set off from School Hill near EHS. Food trucks, entertainment, beer garden, and fireworks at approx 10:10PM. Best Viewing for fireworks: EHS north lawn (near breezeway entrance), Hollenbeck Sports Complex off Eisenhower Drive, Keeley Street, and Downtown on Main Street near library.

Victory Field Fireworks after the Indy Indians Game.

  • After that final out of the game, get ready for a fun fireworks show. Game starts at 7:05pm.

Independence Day Celebration. CERA Sports Park and Campground Columbus, IN.

  • Live music, food and drink vendors, corn hole, inflatables, swimming and don't forget fireworks! Fireworks start at 10pm. Park entry fee $10 a car and Experience bracelets are $14 for adults, $12 for kids 5-12yrs, and 4 and under are free.
