• Franklin College Art Exhibit & Reception: 6-7:30pm. The Franklin College Art Department will celebrate the work of its spring semester art students with an art exhibit reception and awards ceremony. • Food Truck Fight: 5:30-7:30pm. Join Central Nine for a one-of-a-kind culinary competition where creativity meets flavor. Student teams will design their own food truck concepts, from branding to menu, featuring collaborations between culinary and digital design students. Each team will showcase a custom truck mock-up and serve up sample bites for you to enjoy. Tickets required.

• Touch-A-Truck: 9am-12pm. Local departments and companies pack the parking lot with their trucks so kids can climb in and explore. Admission is $2 per child. Greenwood Department of Public Works Parking lot

• Spring Open House at Miss M’s: 9am-5pm. Stroll through the flower-filled greenhouse, shop for home décor, enjoy live music and sip Mallow Run wine. 

• Radio Control Flyers: 9am-3pm. The Johnson County Radio Control Flyers will fly planes at the flying field at Johnson County Park. This event is free for spectators

• Indiana Live Steamers Public Rides: 12-4pm. Train fans are invited to come to the McClain Cabin Station at Johnson County Park for scenic train rides that cover nine scale miles (6,000 feet) and take about 20 minutes. The cost is $4 per person. Shoes are required.

• Aberdeen Indoor Farmers Market: 12-4pm. Aberdeen Farms, 5028 Abbeygate Blvd. Bargersville, IN

• Golf Cart 500: 3-5pm. Join Johnson County Park for the Golf Cart 500 and get the chance to compete in races and different events. $5 entry fee. 

• Festival Country Kick-Off: 4-10pm. Celebrate the fifth birthday of the DriveHubler.com Amphitheater at Young’s Creek Park with food trucks, birthday festivities and live music by Jam Box, Dirty Deeds, & Crush.

Up Coming Events You Don’t Want to Miss! 

• Mud Day: May 29th 10am-11am & 12pm-1pm. Bring your littles ages 2-10 out to Freedom Park and play in the mud. Admission is Free! Monetary donations are welcomed to benefit the Parks Foundation. 

• Strawberries on The Sqaure: May 22nd 11am-9pm. Celebrate the arrival of strawberry season with strawberry shortcakes served on the courthouse square starting at 11am. This festival also features food and entertainment all day. In the event of rain, the event will take place the following day.

• Aquatic Center Openings! Franklin Family Aquatic Center Opening: May 22nd 11am-6pm. | Edinburgh Aquatic Center will open May 23 | Freedom Springs May 25
