  • Whiteland Farmers Market: 5:30-7:30pm. Johnson County Public Library – Clark Pleasant Branch, 350 Clearwater Blvd. Whiteland, IN

  • America 250 in Film - "An American Tail: Fievel Goes West" 6:00pm - 7:30pm Historic Artcraft Theatre. Free admission. Franklin, IN 

  • Painting Class with Kira: 6-8pm. Enjoy a guided painting class. The cost is $22 and includes a canvas, painting supplies and instruction. Registration required. 

  • Firework Kids Craft: 10am-12pm. Kephart Park Bargersville, IN

  • Bargersville Farmers Market: 5-7pm. Bargersville Town Hall

  • Bargersville Independence Day Celebration: 10am-12pm. Yard games, toy duck races, and sweet treats from DonutNV. Kephart Park 

  • Frank’s Open Stage: 5-8pm. Frank’s Open Stage, featuring a variety of musicians, returns to 1823 Bakehouse. Enjoy songs from a variety of talented performers, many of them local.

  • Wine Tasting at at Vino Villa: 6-8pm.

  • Free Movie at The Artcraft: 7-9pm. See the film FLAG DAY for free.

  • Edinburgh Farmers Market: 4-7pm. 201 W. Main St. Edinburgh, IN.

  • Story Time in The Park with JCPL: 1-2pm. Kephart Park Bargersville, IN  

  • Fireworks on the Range: 5-10:15pm. Enjoy food, live music by Tastes Like Chicken, and fireworks starting at 9:45 p.m. Bounce houses, games and facepainting will also be available for kids. Hickory Stick Golf Club 

  • Live Music at Vino Villa: 6-8pm. 

  • Free Family Swim at Franklin Aquatic Center: 6-8pm. Free pool entry,  patriotic music and free American flag pinwheels to celebrate America's 250th.

  • Live Music at Tried & True: 8-11pm. 

  • Symphony on the Prairie – Star-Spangled Symphony: Gates open 6:00pm, concert 8:00pm. The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra performs patriotic favorites in celebration of America's 250th birthday, with a fireworks finale. Conner Prairie Amphitheatre, Fishers, IN. Tickets required.

  • Derek Hough - Symphony of Dance: Encore: 7:30pm. Old National Centre, Indianapolis, IN. Tickets required.  


Friday, July 3        

  • Wild Adventures: A Smart Zoo Experience: 2-6pm. This one-of-a-kind event features hyper-realistic and fully animatronic animals, including lions, tigers, elephants, pandas, monkeys, a smoke-breathing 40-foot king cobra and dinosaurs. There will also be deep dish cookies, fossil dig pits, photo opportunities, face painting and more.

  • Live Music at Smocktown: 8-10pm. 

  • Live Music at Tried & True: 8pm-11pm. 

  • Franklin Firecracker Festival: 5-11pm. The festival kicks off with food trucks and a beer garden starting at 5 p.m. The opening concert is from 5 to 6:30 p.m. by 38th Infantry Division Band, the main act (Blue River Band) is from 7 to 10 p.m. and fireworks begin at 10:10 p.m

  • Live Music at Draft Day Pub: 8pm-11pm. 

  • Live Music at Ale Emporium: 8:30-11:30pm.

  • Live Music at Draft Day Pub: 8pm-11pm. 

  • Greenwood Farmers Market: 8am-12pm. 525 N. Madison Ave. Greenwood, IN

  • Franklin Farmers Market: 8am-12pm. 237 W. Monroe St. Franklin, IN

  • Live Music at Smocktown: 8-10pm. 

  • Live Music at Tried & True: 8pm-11pm. 

  • Brunch Therapy at SIP: 10am-2pm. Enjoy mimosas and a brunch tower filled with treats while singing along to fun throwback songs played by a DJ. Tickets required. 

  • Mallow Run Red White & Blueberry Festival: 2-10pm. Celebrate American summertime with the annual release of Mallow Run Winery’s blueberry wine and blueberry hard cider, plus food trucks and great music. Saturday's event is 7 to 10 p.m. and features music from The Bishops and a fireworks finale. $10 car charge after 5pm. 

  • Freedom to Explore - Indianapolis Zoo: 9:00am-7:00pm. Special discounted zoo admission - $17.76. Indianapolis Zoo, Indianapolis, IN. Tickets required. 

  • Indy Eleven vs Charleston Battery: 4:00pm. Carroll Stadium, Indianapolis, IN. Tickets required. 

  • Edinburgh Firecracker Festival: 11am-10:30pm.  Enjoy food trucks, vendors and a Corvette show starting at 11 a.m.; and a patriotic golf cart parade at 1:45 p.m. Enjoy live music by Banister Bluegrass at 2 p.m., Joe Hess and the Wandering Cowboys at 5 p.m. and The Rumors at 8 p.m. Kids' activities include a magic show at 5:30 and 7:15 p.m. and a foam party and games from 6 to 9 p.m. Fireworks at the water tower will conclude the evening at 10 p.m.

  • Edinburgh Aquatic Center 4th of July Party: 12pm-6pm. Cool off in the pool while playing games and listening to music by a DJ. This pool party celebrates America's 250th anniversary with special concession treats, games and prizes every hour, and music. Admission is  $1 for all. 

  • Symphony on the Prairie – Star-Spangled Symphony: Gates open 6:00pm, concert 8:00pm. Final night of the Star-Spangled Symphony celebrating America's 250th birthday with a fireworks finale! Conner Prairie Amphitheatre, Fishers, IN. Tickets required.

  • Jack Johnson - SURFILMUSIC Tour 2026: 7:30pm. Ruoff Music Center, Noblesville, IN. Tickets required. 


Sunday, July 5     

  • Live Music at Chilly Water Greenwood: 4-7pm. 

  • Mallow Run Red White & Blueberry Festival: 12-5pm. Sunday’s music features Park Avenue Band from 2 to 5 p.m
