Friday, August 23        

• Johnson County Library Events:

  • Tot Art: 10:00am - 11:00am, Clark Pleasant Branch

  • Tot Art: 10:00am - 10:30am, Franklin Branch 

  • Preschool Yoga Storytime: 10:30am - 11:30am, White River Branch 

• Free Friday Storytime: 11am. Enjoy a free storytime and dot art with Toodleydoo Toys in downtown Franklin. Franklin Courthouse Lawn. 

• Franklin Summer Concert: 6-10pm. Enjoy Groovesmash from 8 to 10 p.m. Food trucks will be available for the entire length of the event. 237 W. Monroe St. Franklin, IN

• Summer Concert at Mashcraft Greenwood: 7-9pm. Enjoy an outdoor concert featuring The Bad Monkeys, plus great food and craft beer. Bring a chair and enjoy this family-friendly event. 

Saturday, August 24

• Greenwood Farmers Market: 8am-12pm. 525 N. Madison Ave. Greenwood, In

• Franklin Farmers Market: 8am-12pm. Franklin Ampetheatre at Young’s Creek Park  Franklin, IN

• Shelbyville Farmers Market: 8am-12pm. Downtown Shelbyville, IN 

• The Taylor Party: 8pm. The Vouge - Indianapolis, IN. TS Dance party, 21+. Tickets required.

• Tea and Flowers at Broken Maple Farm: 8am-11am. Pick your own flowers and sip tea from the Rustic Root mobile tea room. Tickets required. 3717 W. 525 South Trafalgar, IN 

• Picnic Concert Series at Mallow Run: 6-9pm. Music by The Blue River Band at 6 p.m. Admission is free. All ages.Mallow Run Winery, 6964 W. Whiteland Road Bargersville, IN. 

• Airport Day:10am-3pm. This event features free aircraft rides for kids ages 8 to 17 (walk-up registrations if there are available seats, but people are encouraged to register in advance). There will also be other great activities, like World War II re-enactors, helicopter rides, a vehicle display, flight simulators and more. Indy South Greenwood Airport, 897 Airport Pkwy. Greenwood, IN

• Kids Firefighter Challenge: 10am-2pm. Bring the kids to test their firefighter skills in a free firefighter challenge. Run through an obstacle course set up to mimic what it’s like to be a firefighter, Greenwood Fire Department, 155 E. Main St. Greenwood, IN

Sunday, August 25  

• Paint and Sip: 2-5pm. Learn painting techniques and media while sipping wine. All experience levels are welcome. Tickets required. Greenwood Mash Craft.
