Library Events at Johnson County Public Libraries


  • Free Friday Story Time: 10:30am. Courthouse lawn. 5 E Jefferson St. Franklin, IN. with Toodleydoo Toys.



  • Indianapolis Children's Museum Activities: 10:30am-3:30pm. Check out all of the events and times they start here.


  • Franklin Fall Festival: 5:30-10pm. Food trucks, beer/wine garden, 7-10pm Music by No Fences. (Garth Brooks Tribute Band) DriveHubler.com Ampitheater at Youngs Creek Park


  • Wrights FUN time: 12:00-12:50pm. $15 per kid if you’re not registered in a class already. Kids under 3 must have a parent on the floor with them at all times. Register here.


  • SWING at Victory Field: 7:00pm. Indy Indians First Inaugural Charity event. 1930’s theme with local restaurants, live entertainment, VIP experiences and more. Tickets can be purchased here.



  • Kelsay Farms: Opening DAY! 6-9pm. Head out to enjoy everything from the corn maze, hayrides, farm animals, jump pad, corn crib, Moo Choo, pumpkins and much more! Tickets here


  • Movie in the Park: Sundown. Movie Playing: Mario Brothers. Old City Park Greenwood, IN


  • Newfields Harvest Nights: Opening Night. Savory and sweet food and beverages available for purchase. Tickets required.

Saturday, September 30

  • Franklin Fall Festival: 8am - 9:30pm. Live music, vendors, parade, fireworks adn more! Located in Downtown Franklin at multiple locations. DriveHubler.com Amphitheater at Youngs Creek Park Franklin, IN.


  • Greenwood Farmers Market: 8am - 12pm. 525 N Madison Ave, Greenwood IN 46142


  • Columbus Farmers Market: 9-12:30pm. Columbus City Hall, Columbus, IN

  • The Apple Works Fall Fun: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m Fall Fun is open on Indy’s south side. Enjoy music from Highland Reign, artisans, food, kids activities, and more Free admission (some activities cost extra). 8157 S. 250 West Trafalgar, Indiana

Sunday October 1
