This is my 3rd year planning a Fall Guide for my family of four — and these spots have officially become our must-do traditions every year. 🍁

This isn’t an all-inclusive list of every event around 📍Indianapolis, but these are the ones we never skip (and you shouldn’t either 😉).
Most are local to the southern suburbs of Indy, but a few are totally worth the drive!
Kelsay Farms
6848 N. County Road 250 E | Whiteland, IN 46184
From hayrides to animals to pumpkins and more - you are sure to have a great time! Their moo-train is our favorite! Open daily for Fall Break (OCT 6-19, 2024). This place has an activity all kiddos can enjoy! You can definitely bring your stroller, sometimes the terrain can be rough in the corn maze though. Parking is free, but there is an admission fee for anyone over the age of 23 months. Make sure you check socials for up-coming coupon codes to save on your tickets!
You can purchase your tickets here!
Anderson Orchard
369 East Greencastle Road, Mooresville, IN 46158
Hours: 8am to 8pm or dark, whichever comes first, seven days a week.
Anderson Orchard is located just under 30 minutes from Greenwood on Indy's south west side. If you’re looking for an orchard that has lots of options for U-pick produce throughout the year, this is the place to visit. Walk with your kids and stroller or drive back into the orchard to pick apples this Fall. If you don’t have the time, grab a bag of already picked apples from their apple barn. You can also grab some tasty treats from the concessions. The apple cider slushie is so good– you can’t go wrong!
.
See more information about U-pick and fall events here.
Dulls Tree Farm
1765 W. Blubaugh Avenue Thorntown, IN 46071 (North of Indy)
This one is a little bit of a drive– roughly about an hour north of Greenwood, but you can’t go wrong with the amount of fun Fall activities! Admission includes access to over 45 activities at the farm. Some of the activities include: the new Paintball Experience, Barnyard Sports Zone, Ropes Range, big slides, hayride to the pumpkin patch and corn maze, barrel train rides, small zip line, slingshots, farm animals, barnyard bouncers, and more!! Ages 2 and under are free. Everyone else requires a paid admission. Get Tickets here. Use Code: KUL25 to save $3
Pleasant View Orchard
10721 N County Road 850 W Fairland, IN 46126
If you’re closer to the South or East side of Indy– this spot might be just what you’re looking for when it comes to all different types of Fall activities! You can check out their U-Pick apple orchard, pumpkin patch, kids playground, and their concession area. Their homemade hot apple cobbler a-la-mode is a MUST try! They also have FREE parking and FREE admission.
See more info about the orchard and activities here.
Harvest Nights at Newfields
4000 Michigan Rd Indianapolis, IN 46208
The spooky, not scary, happens at The Garden at Newfields through Nov 2nd. Walk through the Pumpkin Path of Peril and feel the Ghost Train Rumble beneath your feet, all the while taking in tens of thousands of pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns. This event is absolutely stroller friendly– actually I recommend it if you have small kids. It takes around 2 hours to explore it all and I think it's worth it! Kids 5 and under are free, but make sure to grab their free ticket online before going!
