  • Franklin Light Fight: 6-10pm. Opening Night. Homes in Franklin will be competing to have the best lights and decorations. Competing homes will be marked with signs in their yards and there will be maps so viewers can drive around and see all the displays.

  • Grinch Character Storytime & Photos: 6-8pm. Take a photo with the Grinch and enjoy story time, activities and more. Greenwood Public Library

  • Frosting & Flick’s at Millies: 6-8pm. Enjoy a one-of-a-kind cookie decorating experience that combines sweet treats with movie night. Decorate sugar cookies themed to the film, enjoy a drink to match the vibe and relax together while the movie plays on the big screen. The film and theme for this event is How the Grinch Stole Christmas. 

  • Christian Vacation Trivia at The Sycamore: 7-9pm. Test your knowledge of Cousin Eddie, the Griswolds, and all the holiday chaos. Registration required.

The town’s iconic downtown railroad fence along Baldwin Street will come to life with lights up and down the railroad corridor and a 14-foot Christmas tree will be featured at Umbarger Plaza. Bargersville, IN

  • First Fridays in Franklin: 5-8pm. More than 25 stores and restaurants in downtown Franklin will be open late for this fun shopping and dining event. There will be live music at three different spots downtown, artists, and other fun. 

  • Jodi White at Mad Hatter: 7-8:30pm. Tickets required. 

  • After Hours Comedy: 8:30-10pm. National touring comedians will perform a one-night-only After Hours Comedy showcase. Enjoy a full bar and food while you laugh the night away. Haven at Hickory Stick 

  • Boos and Brews Walking Tour: 10-11pm. 21+ This spooky and spirited experience pairs ghostly tales with stops at some of Franklin’s best local bars and pubs. Tickets required.

Juice, milk and coffee will be available as well.There will be fun Christmas crafts for the kids, music and, of course, an appearance from Old Saint Nick! Tickets required. Sycamore at Mallow Run 

  • Franklin Holiday Lighting and Winter Market: 11am-8pm. Enjoy festive activities all day. 

  • Santa Photos at The Museum: 1:30-4:30pm. Santa will be at the museum for free pictures. Kids can enjoy a craft activity and view the Dec-a-Trees while waiting. Johnson County Museum 

  • Meet Mr. & Mrs. Claus at The Greenwood Library: 2-4pm. Visit Santa and Mrs. Claus and enjoy a kids activity and refreshments.
